On 23 February at 10.00 am, at the Palace of the Archbishop of the Diocese of Matera - Irsina, was presented the sketch of the triumphal chariot 2008 in honor of Maria della Bruna SS.ma, which will be built by craftsmen, and Francesco Pasquale NICOLETTI.
The manufactured paper mache develop the theme "The reception and the defense of her life," which connects to the thematic elements that have characterized the triumphal wagons made in recent years, following the traces of the reflection of the Church Meeting National, held in Verona in 2006.
Moreover, the Church has always expressed its strong support to the "life" in all its forms and expressions, as confirmed by the bishops' message for the Day of Life: "The civilization of a people is measured by its ability to serve life. " The presentation of the model of
triumphal car, reserved for media professionals, was present Archbishop Salvatore Ligorio, the deputy archbishop Monsignor Damien Lionetti, the cathedral's parish priest Don Vincenzo Di Lecce, artists and Francesco Pasquale NICOLETTI, Chairperson's Festa della Bruna, Franco Palumbo.
The chariot 2008 will take place, as usual, in the store on Via Marconi, in the hope that we proceed quickly to completion of work on the plaza outside the store, so as to enable the city to admire the Triumphal Chariot in a more appropriate respect the occasion and the tradition. (1)
